- Training Programs
CATCH offers a wide array of training programs tailored to meet the evolving needs of the industry. Launched in 2017, CATCH Skills provides practical, hands-on training in areas such as mechanical, electrical, process, health and safety, and personal development. The courses are designed to attract learners from around the globe, ensuring they receive real-world training that meets industry standards. Introduced in 2021, the apprenticeship programs quickly gained recognition for their quality and industry relevance. These programs cover a variety of roles, including process manufacturing, welding, and engineering technician positions. They are tailored to equip apprentices with the skills necessary to excel in their chosen fields.

Innovation and Sustainability
A champion for clean industrial growth, CATCH is committed to leading the UK's largest industrial cluster towards sustainable practices. It continuously invests in state-of-the-art facilities and innovative training programs to develop future talent and support industry transformation.
CATCH has ambitious plans to develop a new £60 million National Net Zero Training Centre. This initiative aims to address the impending engineering construction skill shortages expected across the UK, particularly in the Humber cluster. The phased strategy aims to train 1,000 new entrants to the industry annually by 2029, supported by initial funding from industrial sponsors and CATCH members, including Phillips 66 Limited, Harbour Energy, and VPI Power.
Pending partner engagement and planning permission, the new centre will feature a national net zero conference and learning centre, tailored classrooms and workshops for electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical, technical skills, a state-of-the-art welding and fabrication hub with 160 welding bays, and an outdoor Process Unit Training Module. Enhanced car parking facilities and a dedicated regional bus infrastructure will ensure easy access for apprentices from Lincolnshire and Yorkshire regions.
CATCH’s success is built on collective effort and collaboration across all industry sectors. Schools, academic institutions, the supply chain, and both private and public sector organisations are called upon to unite in pursuit of shared aspirations. CATCH's commitment to excellence is evident in its continuous development of world-class facilities and programs. The organisation’s training centre has been at the forefront of industrial skills training for over a decade, attracting learners globally and equipping them with practical skills that meet industry demands. The National Net Zero Training Centre will play a vital role in developing the skilled workers needed to deliver the UK’s net zero infrastructure.
CATCH stands as a beacon of industrial training and development, providing unparalleled support to learners and industry partners. Its state-of-the-art facilities, comprehensive training programs, and strong industry collaborations position it as a leader in fostering industrial growth and competency.
