Lincoln Cathedral to Host Sixth Spark Festival on 11th & 12th July 2025

The much-anticipated Spark Engineering Festival 2025 is set to return for its sixth edition, taking place at the iconic Lincoln Cathedral on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th July 2025. Following the success of the 2023 festival, which attracted over 8,000 visitors—including more than 600 school students aged 11 to 17—this year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever.

The festival is a celebration of Lincolnshire’s engineering legacy and showcases the region's latest advancements in maths, science, and technology. Organised by local engineering firms, Spark aims to inspire the next generation of innovators while providing an engaging and educational experience for visitors of all ages.

SPARK! Engineering Festival 2025 is open to everyone, with free entry for all visitors. Taking place within the magnificent setting of Lincoln Cathedral—a medieval engineering masterpiece and one of Europe’s finest Gothic cathedrals—the event is an unmissable opportunity to explore the wonders of engineering past and present.
